Goodbye and Farewell

It is with great sadness we announce that Saturdays game vs Frocester V will be Scott Kinmann-Pearmain's last as he is heading back to his roots in South Africa. On behalf of Leonard Stanley Cricket Club we at leonardstanleycc.co.uk would just like to say Goodbye and Good Luck!

Anyone who wants to wish him luck can do so Saturday night in Stroud as we toast his times with LSCC.

Will Stanley be Relegated?

Well, it looks like Leonard Stanley are on their way down to Division 1; After needing a win against Eastcombe to stay up, who also needed a win - but to win the Title. A Report of this match can be seen by clicking here

However, the reason I ask "Will they..." because rumour has it that Rockhampton III intend to go up the County League which (in the past at least) would mean that we would be saved. Only time will tell.

Bad News

Sadly, due to commitment issues, Hanwell will not be coming to us this year as they have had to cancel their whole tour. Fortunately, we are still set to go and see them on the bank-holiday weekend in August. Places for that are still available, contact Paul W for details or to show interest.
